The A320 Landing Distance Calculator allows the user to quickly calculate the landing distance required and approach speed (VAPP) based on aircraft configuration, airport and runway selection, runway surface condition, and airport weather data.
A320 LDC has been designed to be accurate, fast and pilot-friendly. It is applicable to the A319, A320 and A321 versions of Airbus’ popular single-aisle aircraft.
Headwind (tailwind), as well as crosswind components are also calculated and displayed. The option exists to select either the runway surface condition or directly input the reported Canadian Runway Friction Index (CRFI).
Five Canadian and five U.S. airports listed by ICAO code and their runways are pre-loaded into the app’s database: CYYZ, CYVR, CYYC, CYUL, CYEG, KATL, KLAX, KDFW, KORD and KJFK. However, the user can easily add their own airports to the database or use the temporary runway manual input feature.
Download of v1.2 will not delete the user's existing airport and runway database.
